Our Self Storage prices are at a fixed cost of £36 a week or £156 pcm.
We have one size, which is 160 sq ft.
Dimensions: 7ft 8ins wide, 19ft 3ins long and 7ft 9ins High.
You can store almost anything at Maben Self Storage as long as it’s not perishable, flammable or illegal. You cannot store:
Gas
Any flammable items
Fireworks
Perishable foods or materials
Dangerous chemicals
Goods of an illegal nature
Live animals or Any living creatures
Firearms, explosives, weapons or ammunition
Illegal substances, drugs or any illegally obtained goods
Households, businesses, collectors, new families, downsizers, jet setters all need self-storage. It would be rare that you didn't need storage at some time in your life.
As long as you want. The minimum is one week, but there is no maximum stay.
You can move in straight away, subject to availability. It could be the same day you contact us. It will need to be within Office Opening hours to ensure you are allocated your Storage unit.
Opening hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 5:30pm, Saturday 8am to 12pm, Sunday Closed.
It all depends what contract you are on:
Weekly Billing - 7 days written notice
Monthly billing – 14 days written notice
You can still move your goods out during those days if you want to.
Yes - all customers are required to pay £50 refundable deposit before storing with us. The deposit is fully refundable provided there is no damage to the unit and the gated key fob is returned after you have vacated.
You can purchase a Padlock from us or you can bring your own.
There is access to your unit 24/7. You will be given a Key Fob to access the unit.
However our Office opening hours are:
Monday to Friday 8am - 5:30pm, Saturday 8am - 12pm and Sunday closed.
No, You are the only key holder.
If you want us to hold a copy on site, we can secure the key for you without a charge. It will only be given to you or others upon your written request.
Please bring the following:
Proof of ID (drivers licence or passport)
Proof of address (eg. Bank Statement, Utility Bill)
Payment (credit/debit card)
An alternative contact name address and phone number
A padlock (we sell them if you forget)
We only accept credit/debit cards. The best way is to set up a direct debit - which our team can support you with.
No - you have access 24/7 to the secured site and you are the key owner to your storage unit.
Yes, you do need to have insurance for your goods while you store with us. This is your responsibly to sort prior to storing, and we do require proof of this.
